When do children stop being stupid

I texted my oldest son meet me at lunch at my work between 11 and 12 how fucking hard is that? He was gonna be here at 12.
My younger son thinks he can live rent free and not do anything around the house where does he get that idea from?
I just want them to become the adults they are now.
